The term might be cliché, but the principle behind giving 110% is not. Each and every day we ask our student-athletes to perform at their very highest level on the field, court or track. Each and every day we ask our student-athletes to perform their very best in the classroom and ask them to represent Wichita State University in a manner that will make us all proud.
Many of these student-athletes truly give all they have to Wichita State and when asked to give a little more, they dig deep and find a way. These student-athletes exemplify what it means to give 110%.
The 110% Club is a way for each of our Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization members to individually meet the need to fund our student-athlete support shortfall. As the cost of tuition and academic support needs continues to soar, the funding shortfall gap continues to widen. The slight increases in SASO giving levels do not keep pace with the increases the WSU Athletics Department incurs for student-athlete academic support expenses.
Benefits to the 110% Club include:

You may voluntarily join the 110% Club by simply donating 10% above the minimum for your membership level or 10% above your 2009-10 110% Club participation amount. For example,if you were a Bold Gold member your 110% Club gift to SASO would be $1,320 (10% more than the minimum Bold Gold membership amount of $1,200). If you participated in the 110% Club in 2009-10, your 110% Club donation would be %1,367.30 (10% more than your 110% gift last year).
