I had the opportunity to choose between several different colleges, but I chose Wichita State University because it has one of the best baseball programs in the nation. Also, the coaching staff was encouraging. I knew they would help me to become the best athlete and also provide all the resources for me to obtain a college degree.
The Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization provided every kind of support I needed to excel academically. The advisors were always eager to help. I still keep in touch with many of the coaches and advisors that helped me accomplish my goals.
SASO funding made academic and athletic resources available to me that I never could have afforded on my own. My time at WSU helped further my education and current career as a pilot.
